Q: Which file formats do you accept?

We accept STL, 3MF, OBJ, and STEP/STP files. STL is the most common format. We prefer 3MF because this file can also contain color and scale information, which reduces the risk of errors during processing.

Q: How much does custom 3D printing cost?

The price consists of a starting rate of €9.95 (for file checking, slicing, and preparation) plus material costs, print time, and any post-processing. You will always receive a no-obligation, customized quote first – there is no commitment.

Q: How long does it take before I receive my print?

Upon receipt of payment, we will print your design. Small to medium-sized prints are usually ready and shipped within 2 to 5 working days. For larger projects, this increases to a maximum of one week. The exact delivery time is always stated in the quotation.

Q: Do you also ship abroad?

Yes, we ship to all countries within Europe. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and destination and are stated in the quotation.

Layer thickness (quality)*

0.1 mm – Fine

0.2 mm – Standard

0.3 mm – Fast

Finer layer thickness = better result, but longer print time.

Fill level (infill)*

5% – Light

15% – Normal

35% – High

Higher fill level = heavier product. Strength lies primarily in the number of walls.

Number of walls*

2 – Standard

3 – Sturdy

4 – Strong

More walls = stronger product. This has a greater influence on strength than the fill level.

Which file formats do you accept?

We accept STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP/STP files. STL is the most common format. We prefer 3MF because this file can also contain color and scale information, which reduces the risk of errors during processing.

Can you also print in multiple colors?

Yes, that is possible in two ways:

1. Print and attach separately: The various parts are each printed in a separate color and then attached or glued together. This is the most affordable option for multi-colored objects.

2. Change color per layer (AMS): Our Bambu Lab printer with AMS (Automatic Material System) can automatically switch colors during printing. This produces beautiful results but takes significantly more print time. This can substantially increase the price.

Please indicate your preferred method in your request, or describe your wishes in the comments field – we will then advise you in the quotation.

What is the difference between PLA and PETG?

PLA is the standard material: beautiful matte finish, wide range of colors, and suitable for decorative objects and prototypes. PETG is stronger, slightly flexible, and more moisture-resistant – ideal for functional parts that take a bit more abuse.

What do layer thickness, fill level, and number of walls mean?

Layer thickness determines the detail quality: 0.1 mm gives a finer and smoother result, 0.3 mm prints faster but is visibly more layered.

Fill level (infill) determines how much material is inside the object. A higher fill level makes the object heavier, but not necessarily much stronger.

Number of walls has the greatest influence on strength. More walls = thicker outer shell = sturdier product. For functional parts, we recommend a minimum of 3 walls.

What is the maximum size the object can be?

Our Bambu Lab printers have a maximum print volume of approximately 25 x 25 x 25 cm. We can sometimes print and glue larger objects in parts. If in doubt, please contact us via info@goed3d.nl.

Can you also glue multiple parts together?

Yes! We offer post-processing in the form of gluing multiple parts. This is useful if your design is too large for a print, or if you have designed an object in multiple separate parts. Please mention this in the comments with your request.

How does payment work?

After you agree to the quote, you will receive a payment link. You can pay easily and securely. in advance via iDEAL via our WooCommerce webshop. As soon as payment is received, we start printing.

My file is larger than 25 MB – what now?

Then please contact us first via info@goed3d.nl. You can also compress larger files via the export settings of your CAD software or with a tool like Mesh mixer. We are happy to help you with that.

Is my design safe with you?

Absolutely. Your file is used exclusively for the quotation and, after your approval, for printing. We never share your files with third parties. After processing, the files are deleted from our server.
